At Humbug Holiday Lighting we’re pleased to offer a seasonal position as a Holiday Lighting Technician. This position is from September to January, in Pompano Beach, Boca Raton Deerfield Beach, Boynton Beach and surrounding areas.

As Humbug Holiday Lighting Technician, you will be professionally installing, maintaining, and removing holiday lighting systems at residential and commercial locations.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Working with a team of experienced holiday lighting installers to design, set up, and take down lighting systems at client properties

· Loading, unpacking, and carrying ladders/equipment

· Climbing and working from ladders, as well as roofs

· Receive training on ladder safety and fall-restraint systems for when on roofs

· Ensuring the safety of yourself and others on your team by maintaining safety standards

· Locating, reporting, and troubleshooting power issues related to lighting systems or lit décor

· Conducting service calls for issues with lighting and accessories after installation

· Organizing lights, decorations, tools, inventory, and inventory within vehicles

· Maintaining a positive attitude with customers, co-workers, and supervisors

· Placing door hangers and yard signs to promote brand awareness

What We’re Looking For

· No prior experience required. We are looking for people with a solid work ethic and team-mentality

· Ability to follow instructions and work well with others

· Must be able to work weekends and some evenings

· Strong problem solving and multitasking skills

· Comfortable on ladders up to 40 feet and navigating on roofs

· Ability to regularly lift objects weighing 25 pounds or more

· Occasionally lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds

· Good driving record

· Basic electrical knowledge is helpful

Requirements

· Valid driver’s license

· Graduated high school or GED equivalent

· Agree to take and pass background check and drug test

· Be punctual and reliable

Compensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
