URGENTLY HIRING - Operations Manager for Pest Control & Holiday Lighting Company

Availability: This is a full-time year-round position that requires you to report to the office at Hoffman Estates, IL most days. You must be available virtually daily.

Mosquito Hunters is a home service company dedicated to providing effective mosquito and pest control solutions while prioritizing customer satisfaction. While not hunting mosquitoes and pests, we offer holiday lighting services in the Fall and Winter.

Mission:

The mission of the Operations Manager is to spearhead revenue generation and sustainable growth for the company. This pivotal role involves optimizing operational efficiency, nurturing a dynamic team, enhancing customer retention, and driving revenue-generating activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations to ensure achievement of production goals during pest control season and holiday lighting season
Manage fleet and inventory within budget constraints
Support technicians with necessary tools and resources
Train, mentor, and develop employees for growth-oriented collaboration
Educate team on best practices for service excellence and revenue generation
Manage customer relationships to enhance retention and satisfaction
Mitigate cancellations and resolve customer issues promptly
Support sales team and execute local marketing tactics
Upsell new and existing customers effectively
Develop commercial customer relationships through outreach efforts
Serve as backup technician in times of need (for pest control and holiday lighting)

Qualifications:

Active pest control license in Structural Pest Control and Mosquito Control
Continuing education credits for pest control (preferred)
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years' experience in related field (preferred)
Proven experience in operations management, sales, leadership or similar role
Must have valid driver's license
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
Must be able to provide references from previous employers
Experience in both holiday lighting and pest control is not required; training will be provided
